Do You Use Air Filters for Cleaning Dust in Your Home?

You may easily clean up dust under the sofa and on the carpet, but it's hard to deal with dust suspended in the air. Inevitably, however, dust particles are suspended in the home air. An air purifier that features a HEPA or other mechanical filter is an acceptable option for dust particles. But there is the possibility that mold/bacteria can grow on the filter and be released back into the air. Also, you need to remember to change the filters once they become saturated.

When it comes to electrostatic air filters or ionizers, it is best to avoid them. They can potentially produce an air pollutant themselves in the process–ozone–which can be harmful to you and your family’s health. They may not be as efficient either as a mechanical filter would be.

There is a practical option that is to use a worth filter like HEPA filter, which is designed to remove dust in the air. But the precondition is that you need to chronic replace the filters when they load with particles. dust particles, which are often the root cause of allergies.
