What types of humidifiers are available?

At present, civil humidifiers on the market are generally divided into three types: ultrasonic humidifier, cold evaporative humidifier and heat evaporative humidifier.

The ultrasonic humidifier mainly uses high-frequency vibration, and then through the high-frequency vibration of the atomizer makes the water in the humidifier is thrown out of the water surface to produce elegant water mist, to achieve the purpose of air humidification.

The cold evaporative humidifier uses a fan to force the air to contact and exchange with water through a water-absorbing medium to increase the relative humidity of the air, similar to the principle of wetting a large towel to dry.

Heat evaporative humidifier is also called electric heating humidifier. It works by heating water to 100 degrees in a heater to produce steam, which is sent out by an electric motor, think of the electric kettle we use at home.

The above three types of humidifier are briefly introduced. The first two kinds are very common, but the last one is heat evaporation type. Due to high energy consumption, dry burning, low safety factor, easy scaling on the heater and other factors, it is generally rare for ordinary people to live in their homes.
